2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
Cllr Stovin 11/00346/COU & 347/ADV – Associate of the Legionnaires Club
The Minutes of the Planning Meeting held on the 27 th April 2011 were received, approval proposed by Cllr Millar, seconded by Cllr Forster and unanimously approved by the meeting.
4. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Limited to 2 minutes per speaker and 15 minutes overall.
Mr G Owen was present and briefly addressed the meeting to advise that his applications 11/0346/COU & 00347/ADV were to be discussed this evening and he was only attending to answer any queries or ambiguity that the plans may raise.

6. PLANNING APPLICATIONS
Resolved that the following recommendations be made to South Staffordshire Council:

11/00325/COU Change of use from building society (A2) to hot food takeaway (use Class A5) with minor alterations including new shop front and extraction flue and replacement condenser unit. - 102 Wolverhampton Road, Codsall
There are already more than sufficient takeaway food outlets in the area.
Lack of designated parking for the business vehicles
Residential neighbours will be subject to additional noise, disturbance, smells and pollution

b. To review and discuss any policy concerns within South Staffordshire Council Policy document relating to Gypsies, Travellers and Travelling Showpeople, as shown on www.sstaffs.gov.uk then locate South Staffs Local Development Framework, February 2011 – page 105.
Cllr Michell was hoping to be able to present a report that is being prepared by District Council on these topics, but it has not yet been received. Cllr Michcell recommended that we await this report, which will help focus on the key problems.
Members agreed to bring both of these items back for discussion on the 8th June.
